Most riverfront lots in Secesh Meadows come with 80 to 180 feet of river. This one has 560! The log cabin sits at the very end of the road on 1.77 acres across two parcels, with Forest Service land behind it and salmon still spawning out front. It runs completely off-grid. Solar with four batteries, an inverter, a generator, a private well, a 50-gallon water tank, and septic keep it going on its own. There’s nothing left to drill or permit. Inside, the 940 sq ft cabin is simple. It has a full kitchen with a gas range, oven, and full-size refrigerator, one bathroom with a tub/shower, and a wood stove in the family room. Everyone sleeps in the loft, which opens onto its own deck. A second deck downstairs looks out at the river. There’s no internet, on purpose. The equipment is here if you want to connect, but the point of a place like this is to leave the phone in a drawer and end the night with card games by the wood stove. Yes! Outside there’s a generator shed/shop, toy storage, a teepee for summer nights, and a classic outhouse for the purists. The cabin sells furnished. In summer, you drive in, about 50 minutes from McCall. In winter, you ride in on a groomed snowmobile trail, with Burgdorf Hot Springs close by. Somebody’s fly rod is about to get a lot more use.
